Abstracts invited - Domestic and Family Violence Symposium

The USQ School of Law and Justice is proud to host the Domestic and Family Violence Symposium: At the Intersection of Knowledge and Practice taking place at USQ Toowoomba on Thursday 17 May 2018 and Friday 18 May 2018.
USQ is currently seeking abstracts for a number of workshops taking place on Friday 18 May 2018. If you are interested in contributing to this symposium, submit your abstract via our easy online form by 16 March 2018. Papers presented at the symposium may, subject to refereeing, appear in an edited published collection.
The theme of this symposium, ‘At the intersection of knowledge and practice’, aims to promote a collaborative approach to developing more effective responses to domestic violence by way of sharing both knowledge and practice, and encourage integrated service delivery. In line with the theme, this symposium will feature a diverse range of presentations from distinguished guests, criminal justice representatives, legal practitioners, victims’ services, and emergency services, as well as an ex-perpetrator of domestic violence and a domestic violence survivor.
