Advocacy update and invitation to provide comments

The QLS Advocacy team works with our policy committees to engage with government on law reform proposals and matters affecting our members in their practice.
Some of our recent activities include:
- The Litigation Rules Committee met with the new Supreme Court Resolutions Registrar, to discuss her role and opportunities to work with the Court
- The Criminal Law Committee participated in a series of stakeholder meetings to discuss options to streamline criminal justice procedures
- Representatives of the Elder Law Committee and the Succession Law Committee attended a public hearing at Queensland Parliament to speak about our submission on the Guardianship and Administration and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2017
