Have your say on the Queensland Building Plan
22 February 2017
The Queensland Building Plan is billed as the most comprehensive review of the state's $44 billion building industry in generations. It looks at potential reforms across 10 key areas, including security of payment for subcontractors, a review of plumbing and drainage laws, building certification, and the operation of the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme.
The Department of Housing and Public Works is inviting practitioners to have their say on the plan at a series of state-wide consultation sessions.
You can hear more and share your experiences, ideas and thoughts with senior departmental officers about what’s working, what isn’t and what needs to be improved Visit the Queensland Building Plan website to register and for presentation topics and times.
