New QLS Council elections site shaped to meet members’ needs
10 August 2011
The QLS Council e-elections site is up and running, shaped to meet members’ needs with the latest election information and resources.
This year is the first time online resources have been a key feature in the Council elections process, with full members able to access nominations forms online and vote via an emailed weblink.
The website contains information on the e-election process, details important dates and outlines the Council’s and President’s roles.
Now is a great time to consider nominating for Council with the upcoming National Legal Profession Reform and major QLS strategic initiatives set to take off. A seat on Council provides you with the opportunity to shape the legal profession in Queensland, and support fellow practitioners and your community.
This is set to be a record-breaking year for nominations and voting participation and all members are encouraged to take an active part in the e-election process.
The website will be developed as key milestones, such as opening of nominations and commencement of voting, take place. You will be kept up to date as the e-election site grows.
