Queensland Law Society is improving its call response service to help members, stakeholders and the public quickly receive accurate information. Currently, the Society has a two-person contact centre for members and non-members and there are two separate phone numbers for legal professionals and members of the public
From 8.30am 2 April, our phone number will change to 1300 FOR QLS (1300 367 757) and the updated system will help guide you directly to QLS service areas. This will help us provide callers with an efficient and timely response to queries.
Members can choose the service they’re after from a set of clear menu options so they quickly reach the right person. Members have 6 options to choose from, depending on the nature of their enquiry:
- Practising certificate, membership, indemnity insurance enquiries or updating firm/member details
- Trust Account enquiry or a receiver appointed external intervention query
- Conferences and seminar/DVD resource query
- Ethics guidance
- Any other query
- Request options again.
