QLS welcomes new student ambassadors
4 September 2015
QLS welcomed its very first intake of Student Ambassadors as part of QLS Student Ambassador Program 2015-16, with a lunch and afternoon orientation session at Law Society House on 3 September.
Ten students from five university law schools have been selected to act as Ambassadors for QLS at their home campus. They will share their knowledge about Queensland Law Society and careers in law with their peers, as well as encourage QLS student membership.
Student Ambassador pilot campus locations for 2015-16 include:
- Bond University
- Central Queensland University
- Griffith University - Gold Coast
- Griffith University - Nathan
- Queensland University of Technology
- The University of Queensland
Student Ambassadors went through a nomination and selection process earlier this year, and we're confident we have picked the best and brightest.
These students are the future of our profession, and we are looking to help them become good lawyers who practise good law.
