Queensland Titles Registry Christmas/New Year closure

The Titles Registry, including all lodgement offices, will be closed from 4.30pm on Friday 22 December 2017 for the Christmas and New Year break, before re-opening for business at 8.30am on Tuesday 2 January 2018.

During the business closure period, no documents can be lodged with the Titles Registry. Documents cannot be lodged electronically through e-lodgement or e-conveyancing during this period. However, customers of these services will still be able to access the relevant systems to prepare documents intended to be lodged from 2 January 2018.

To avoid processing delays, it is advisable that, where possible, you prioritise your lodgements leading up to this closure period. Please don’t leave everything to the last week of the year.

Practitioners are also reminded that:

  • The last settlement notices (current Form 23) will only be accepted by the Titles Registry up to close of business at 4.30pm on Friday 22 December 2017
  • Only Priority Notice forms can be deposited from open of business at 8.30 am on 2 January 2018
  • Priority Notice Forms can be deposited from 2 January 2018 even if they were signed prior to 1 January 2018

Further details about the new priority notices are available on the Titles Registry Alerts page (in particular, Alerts 141 and 140) and also on the Titles Registry forms page.
