Regional Services Outlet project
17 January 2018
The Department of Justice and Attorney-General (DJAG) (through Courts Services Queensland) has been partnering with the Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) on the Regional Services Outlet (RSO) project. Under the RSO project, some regional registries that mostly provide DTMR services are transferring to DTMR operational management.
The following sites transferred to DTMR lead agency on 11 December 2017: Childers, Chinchilla, Clermont, Cunnamulla, Julia Creek, Mitchell, Moranbah, Oakey, Richmond, Springsure, St George, Taroom, Toogoolawah and Tully. The Stanthorpe registry amalgamated with the DTMR QGAP in Stanthorpe on 8 December 2017 so that all services are now provided from a single location.
You won’t experience any change to the availability or quality of court services as a result of the sites transferring to DTMR. Court lodgements will continue to be accepted over the counter by appropriately trained staff and court circuits will continue to be supported as usual in the RSO locations.
