Student engagement and QLS: LawLink
11 October 2017
QLS supports our students, including those who identify as First Nations peoples. The QLS Equity and Diversity Committee established the LawLink program in 2003 to connect Indigenous law students with members of the judiciary, practitioners and other students.
The program provides students with an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the practice of law, with the next session being held on 24 October at Law Society House in Brisbane.
We invite Indigenous students to join us free of charge to meet with the QLS team and learn about the many career paths available to them within the profession. Interested parties can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or by clicking here. We encourage members to distribute this information to their networks and any Indigenous law students that they engage with.
