You’re invited to provide feedback – legal policy reform

Practitioners are invited to provide feedback as QLS policy committees prepare the following submissions.

Credit and financial services that target Australians who are at risk of financial hardship
On 17 October 2018, the Senate initiated an inquiry into credit and financial services that target Australians who are at risk of financial hardship. The Senate referred the inquiry to the Economics References Committee with a request for its report by 22 February 2019. Review the terms of reference.

We welcome your feedback before COB Wednesday 7 November 2018.

Indigenous Knowledge Consultation
IP Australia is consulting with stakeholders who have an interest in how Indigenous Knowledge is protected, used and managed.

Its focus is to identify policy options that relate to the IP responsibilities of IP Australia and help promote the cultural integrity and economic potential of Indigenous Knowledge.

Read the consultation paper.

Please provide your feedback before COB Tuesday 4 December 2018.
