Admitted in 2013, Chloe is a Senior Associate at fc lawyers, practicing in succession law. Chloe is also a Queensland Law Society Councillor.

Chloe identified an area of growth for her practice in succession law and has focused on developing her skills and expertise in this area. She has recently completed her Masters in Applied Law majoring in Wills and Estates with the College of Law. Chloe is committed to becoming a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in Succession Law.

Chloe is a keen participator in her local community. Chloe is director of Spark Bureau Ltd, a not for profit support hub on the Sunshine Coast, a board member of Uniforms 4 Kids and a committee member for the Australasian Council in Women and Policing.

Clarissa Rayward

Collaborative Family Lawyer & Family Mediator, Brisbane Family Law Centre and Accredited Specialist - Family Law

Clarissa Rayward is known as ‘The Happy Family Lawyer’ as she specialises in helping couples stay out of Court and work together to reach a resolution to their relationship breakdown. A practising family lawyer, she is the Director of the Brisbane Family Law Centre, a multidisciplinary practice where lawyers work alongside counsellors and financial planners to ensure that clients receive the holistic support they need.

Clarissa is the author of the successful ‘Happy Family Lawyer’ blog, providing weekly commentary and tips on issues relating to life, love, relationships and divorce. She is also the Author of the book, ‘Splitsville – How to separate, stay out of Court and stay friends.’

In 2016 Clarissa launched her new venture ‘Happy Lawyer, Happy Life’ in response to the growing number of lawyers and other professionals reaching out to her looking for ways of finding ‘Happiness’ in their careers. Clarissa’s podcast and book both titled ‘Happy Lawyer, Happy Life’ offer insights and resources for legal professionals seeking fulfilling careers and happiness both in law and in life.

Due to the overwhelming response to her book and podcast, Clarissa has also launched two new initiatives to support and assist lawyers in their professional lives: “The Course” and “The Club”.

Clarissa was recently recognised for this innovative platform, receiving the 2017 LexisNexis and Janders Dean Legal Innovation Index Award for “The Club”, an online community for entrepreneurial lawyers looking to make the best out of their career while making the best of their lives outside of the law.

For her continuing groundbreaking innovative ideas and projects, Clarissa was recently further acknowledged by the legal profession, receiving the 2017 Women Lawyer’s Association of Queensland’s Inaugural Trailblazer Award.

Dan Rogers

Principal, Robertson O’Gorman Solicitors; Accredited Specialist (Criminal Law) – Qld and Member, Queensland Law Society Ethics Committee

Since 2005, Dan has focused his career on criminal law and professional discipline. He has a long association with Caxton Community Legal Centre, where he is currently the Secretary. He regularly presents at criminal law seminars and as a guest lecturer at universities. He has been published in various law journals and in legal texts.

In 2016, Dan was the chair of the Queensland Law Society's Human Rights Working Group where he was heavily involved in the campaign for a Human Rights Act in Queensland. He is a member of the Society’s Ethics Committee and also a current member of the Queensland Sentencing Advisory Council.
