If you are a lawyer planning a move to Queensland from interstate or overseas and plan to practise law here, there is legislation which simplifies the recognition of qualifications.

Moving from Overseas
People who have an overseas qualification and are interested in practising law in Queensland can obtain further information from the Legal Practitioners Admissions Board.
The National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition is the Australian coordinating body of skills assessment and recognition, and have extensive information available on skilled migration to Australia.
