OUR GOAL – QLS is here to serve and strengthen our members
The Queensland Law Society is a professional association for lawyers, be they retired, engaged in the delivery of legal services, or students embarking on their legal career.
The Society actively seeks to support its members through:-
- The delivery of a cost effective and relevant professional development program;
- Providing leadership and a voice for the profession;
- Building the standing of it members within the community;
- Supporting the development of the knowledge and practice skills of its members;
- Advancing the ongoing commitment of its members to a high commitment to ethical standards; and
- To provide a “sense of belonging” to a professional community.
Above all, the Society is ‘your association’. Its ability to support its members is driven by the engagement it has with its members.
