Brisbane Magistrates Court Open Day

Queensland Law Society will be on the ground at Brisbane Magistrates Court Open Day with a stand, hosting helpful information sessions on current issues and coordinating free legal advice to help consumers draw up their will.

This free community event has an enormous array of activities on offer and is a wonderful opportunity for the community to learn more about law and justice and how it affects everyday life, and for legal practitioners to enjoy a fun, family day out for their profession.

Queensland Law Society information sessions will include:

• Succession Law: What you need to know when creating your will
• Property Law: Changes to Body Corporate legislation
• Family Law: Family violence and Commonwealth Law.

Pro bono will consultations will provide professional advice on what you need to consider in creating a will and how to draw one up.
