In the recent past there has been an increase in issues related to transfer of files and liens. Other matters often presented for clarification are the pre-conditions of recovery when suing for fees and what needs to be set out in the claim for recovery of fees. The speaker will draw from his experience as an ethics guidance solicitor to discuss what practitioners must know in these matters.
