Nominations open for domestic violence prevention awards

The Queensland Government’s 2010 Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Awards are now open for nominations.

The Awards recognise and reward people, projects and activities whose work contributes to the prevention of domestic and family violence in Queensland.

Nominations can be made by self-nomination or nomination by a third party in the following categories:

• Individual
• Partnership
• Community organisation
• Government
• Children and young people
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
