Queensland Law Society Legal Graduate Employment and Vacation Clerkship Guidelines
The Queensland Law Society Legal Graduate Employment and Vacation Clerkship Guidelines have been established to assist students wanting to obtain a graduate or vacation clerkship placement within a firm. The guidelines are here to ensure fairness amongst firms by providing set dates for the recruitment process. This structured process allows students to simultaneously consider offers received and make an informed decision appropriate to their needs.
We know the process for obtaining graduate or vacation clerkship placements within a firm can be overwhelming. Our Guidelines provide students with the opportunity to make an informed and appropriate decision about which firm to apply for and which offer to accept. With set dates for applications and offers students are able to:
- simultaneously submit applications to participating firms and
- simultaneously consider placement offers received.
