Skills Accelerator series 2012

An exciting new initiative for early career lawyers!

Being a successful lawyer is about having more than just legal knowledge – various practical skills are needed at each stage of a lawyer’s career that are essential for success. Based on practitioner feedback and consultation, Queensland Law Society has identified key competencies and now offers an exciting new professional development opportunity for early career lawyers.

The Skills Accelerator series consists of highly interactive, full-day, outcome-based training modules designed to assist young lawyers in honing their practical skills to better handle the realities of legal practice.

The series reflects a commitment by the Society to assist legal professionals in attaining required skills, and provides a flexible, high quality solution to the challenges faced by large and small firms alike in providing practical training to early career lawyers.
