Tutorials
Candidates are urged to allow for approximately 80 hours of coursework before they attend at their nominated tutorial date. The tutorial in effect becomes the last day of your course and it is expected that you will have completed all materials before attendance so make sure you nominate a tutorial that will allow you enough time to complete the required work.
Upon registration at your nominated tutorial you will be asked to:
- sign a declaration of completion form stating that you have completed all coursework
- submit a trust accounting workbook
- sit a 30min trust accounting exam consisting of true/false, multiple choice and short answer questions. The pass mark is 70%
The rest of the day will run quite like a workshop. Remember that these tutorials are designed to help you get the most out of your learning experience so the more you participate in the group activities, the more knowledge you will gain from the day.
Tutorial Dates
We aim to tailor the tutorial days to what works for practitioners, focusing either on sole practitioners to small practice or medium to large practice. We suggest you nominate a tutorial day which you feel would be best suited to your needs.
