IR Assist

IR Assist is a confidential advice service, which provides all members with an IR/HR practitioner to address and resolve emergent workplace employment relations issues including, but not limited to bullying, discrimination, or harassment claims.

The service is available to both employers and employees, and features a mix of:

• free services including phone advice (free first call) and comprehensive fact sheets, and
• discounted user pays services including policy and procedure documentation, a responsive and comprehensive IR/HR phone and email service, and assistance and advice on other IR/HR matters.

IR Assist is provided by Indigo Field Industrial Relations – a specialist and professional industrial relations and human resource consultancy with a wealth of experience across both State and Federal industrial jurisdictions.

IR Assist – Contact Officer training

All employers should have an EEO Contact Officer (first point of contact for an employee with a complaint) with particular knowledge regarding EEO and the complaints process, which assists to reduce the employer’s vicarious liability in the event of a claim.

IR Assist provide an EEO Contact Officer training course of approximately four hours, and are happy to provide delegates with a policy/procedure for dealing with requests for flexible working hours.
