FCC case management pilot ending 15 July

The Federal Circuit Court (FCC) case management pilot will cease from 15 July 2019 in the Brisbane registry. The pilot program limited case management to a discrete number of judges to improve efficiencies and resolve cases in a timely way.

From 15 July the Brisbane registry will begin to revert to individual judicial dockets.

There will be some minor adjustments to the intake work in Brisbane. All applications seeking financial orders only will be managed initially by registrars under the guidance of FCC judges. This has been modelled on the successful work undertaken in the Newcastle registry of the court.
