New volunteering streams for family lawyers with WLSQ
16 August 2018
Are you a female family lawyer in regional Queensland? Perhaps you are on maternity leave, transitioning to retirement, returning to the workforce or moving into sole practice? Women’s Legal Service (WLSQ) offers a range of new volunteering opportunities connecting more solicitors with women in crisis than ever before.
WLSQ is seeking volunteers to commit to one flexible shift per month, via their remote volunteering, legal link and evening advice drop-in streams (volunteers must have at least two years’ post admission experience in family law and DV). For more information, contact Su Marshall on 07 3392 0644 or firstname.lastname@example.org .
Note: Eligible volunteers may be granted a volunteer practising certificate free-of-charge as per the Legal Profession Act 2007.
