Share your story with the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability
10 June 2020
The Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability would like to hear from people with disability, families, support people, organisations and the broader community. The QLS legal policy team is working on several submissions to the various Commission Issues Papers (see more on this below).
QLS encourages members to note that they and their clients can make a personal submission to the Commission. The Commission can accept submissions in writing, over the phone, or through an audio recording. You can also request a private session with a Commissioner. The Commission can assist people to make submissions in their preferred language, including Indigenous languages and Auslan, by providing interpreters and translators.
Further information can be found on the Commission’s website on how people can share their story.
