eConveyancing—Review of the Intergovernmental Agreement for an Electronic Conveyancing National Law

The Draft Final Report—IGA Review is now open for consultation. The Australian Registrars’ National Electronic Conveyancing Council has engaged consultants to undertake a review of the Intergovernmental Agreement for an Electronic Conveyancing National Law (IGA).

The IGA has the objective of establishing a framework to facilitate the implementation of eConveyancing and ongoing management of the regulatory framework.  The Draft Final Report proposes recommendations and options for improvements in relation to a range of current issues, including the future of the regulatory framework, approval processes for operators, enforcement options and change control processes.
