QLS x Family Law is all about rolling up your sleeves, challenging yourself, and doing the work.

Over the course of two streams—plenary and workshop—delegates will experience a stripped-back, learning experiment; featuring truly collaborative workshops, and refreshing plenary talks. Sessions will be delivered by empowering and breakthrough speakers, including our virtual keynote, Professor Margaret Hagan of Stanford University, California; and it all happens in the stimulating, industrial, and immersive space that is The Warehouse in Fortitude Valley (formerly known as “the Family”!).

Join the experiment. Be the change. Experience QLS x Family Law!

Pitting two barristers against two solicitors, the aim of the game is to determine that age old question: who really knows more about the case law?

Wrap up the day with a case roundup you will never forget, and see who reigns supreme—solicitors, or barristers!

Solicitors:

Lisa Lahey, Partner, HopgoodGanim

Craig Nicol, Director, Small Myers Hughes Lawyers; Accredited Specialist (Family Law) and Co-Author, The Family Law Book

Bruce Dodd, Barrister, Queensland Bar
