Course design
Two courses will be offered as the Foundations of Legal Practice 1 and 2, each with a timeframe of up to 12 months to complete. Designed specifically for early career (1-7 years post-admission) legal practitioners, the course will provide learners with the foundational practice skills and expertise essential for success as a modem legal practitioner and enable them to advance to the next stage in their careers. Each course provides 10 CPD points.
Learning outcome
The courses will develop learners' ethical skills, practice management and business skills, and professional skills. Over 12 months, learners will complete a series of continuing professional development (CPD) units produced by QLS together with additional reading and interactive learning materials developed and provided by Bond via the course site. By the end of the 12 months, learners will be required to submit a 5,000-word journal and a 5,000-word assessment paper.
