CPD year extension

Updated Friday 3 April 2020

QLS Council has extended the CPD year. Practitioners now have up until 30 June 2020 to complete continuing professional development (CPD).

What do I need to do?

You will be asked, during the renewals process, if you have met your minimum CPD requirements. If you have, there is nothing more you need to do.

If you have not yet completed your minimum requirements please make sure that, once they are completed, you notify us. We cannot issue a practising certificate to you if the minimum CPD points are not complete by 30 June 2020.

When does the new CPD year start?

The new CPD year will still commence on 1 April 2020.

Any CPD points obtained between 1 January 2020 and 30 June 2020 can be attributed to either the 2019/20 or 2020/21 year.

How do I get my required points before 30 June 2020?

We have a variety of on-demand CPD resources available in our QLS Shop to help you with your professional development.
