  1. What is an on-demand resource?
    An on-demand resource is a recording of a live event or a stand-alone session which is only accessible online.

  2. How do I purchase an on-demand resource?
    Log in to myQLS using your individual QLS login details, navigate to the QLS shop, and add the resource/s you wish to purchase to your cart. View your cart, enter credit card details and then submit your order. Once the payment is cleared (usually within a couple of minutes), you will receive a confirmation email to the email address associated with your QLS account. The email will contain a web link to access the on-demand resource/s online. When you click on the link, it may prompt you to log in to the website using your QLS login details.

  3. What are my QLS login details?
    Your username is your individual QLS number or email address. If you do not know your username or password, click on the “Forgot my password” or “my username” links on the login page and follow the prompts. If you are still experiencing login issues please contact QLS Records and Member Services on (07) 3842 5805 or via email records@qls.com.au.

  4. How do I purchase a resource if I am unable to pay by credit card and require an invoice?
    Should you require an invoice in order to make payment, please contact Events Management on (07) 3842 5806 and we can process the order on your behalf and send through an invoice for payment.

  5. How do I know how many CPD points a resource is worth and does it cover the mandatory core areas?
    All relevant information about a resource will be included in the resource overview in the QLS Shop listing. The overview will note the amount of CPD points available, the mandatory core CPD area/s covered, and the relevant CPD year it is valid for. This information can also be found within the program which is also available in the QLS Shop listing. Once purchased, the information is also available on the on-demand resource viewing page.

  6. Can I view a program before purchasing an on-demand resource?
    Yes, once the program is available online, you may view it by clicking on the ‘program’ button in the resource overview. The program will open in a new tab and you can view the specific sessions the resource covers as well as the presenters.

  7. I have purchased an on-demand resource but it is not available yet. How will I know when it is available?
    The recording available date is noted in the resource overview. If you pre-order an on-demand resources (ie purchase before the recording available date), we will notify you via email when the recording is available to access. If the recording is already available, you can access it along with the associated content and materials immediately via the web link included in the order/payment confirmation email upon purchase.

  8. I have purchased an on-demand resource, how do I access it?
    Click on the web link provided in the order/payment confirmation email which you will receive upon making a successful purchase. You can only access on-demand resources via the web link provided, they are not available in your myQLS account.

  9. Can I view the on-demand resource more than once?
    Yes, you can view an on-demand resource multiple times. You will have up to 12 months to access the content from the date of purchase.

  10. How do I record CPD points I obtain from on-demand resources?
    The total number of CPD points obtainable will automatically be recorded against the purchasers’ QLS account at the time of purchase. You can view your points under the CPD tab after logging into myQLS. QLS recommends that practitioners also maintain their own separate record of CPD activities. Please note that you will not be deemed to have obtained the CPD points until you have viewed the on-demand resource.

  11. When I clicked on the on-demand resource web link, it says ‘access denied’, why?
    The account you have logged into is not the account that was used to make the purchase. Ensure you are logged in with the same QLS login details that were used to purchase the on-demand resource.

  12. I got an error message when I tried to view the recording after logging in, what do I do?
    The error message usually means that a firewall on your computer is blocking the video from playing or you have insufficient internet quality. We suggest accessing the on-demand resource on a different device and internet connection (eg. Phone internet instead of work internet) to determine if it is a firewall or an internet connection issue. Should this not resolve the issue, please contact Events Management via phone on (07) 3842 5806 or by emailing events@qls.com.au.

  13. Can I view the on-demand resource on a number of different devices?
    Yes, our on-demand resources can be viewed on any device that has internet access.

  14. Are all professional development events available as an on-demand resources?
