Specialist accreditation

Queensland Law Society’s Specialist Accreditation program offers accreditation in 10 areas of specialty. The program provides:

  • practitioners with an opportunity to be formally recognised for their high level of competence and knowledge in their particular area of expertise
  • the public, and the legal profession, with a link to practitioners who are leaders in their field.

Accredited specialists have successfully completed an advanced, peer reviewed assessment program specific to their area of expertise.

  • The Specialist Accreditation Logo and post nominals, are a nationally recognised "mark of excellence".

In 2019 the speciality areas for accreditation are Family Law, Succession Law, Property Law and Taxation Law*.

Applications for the 2019 program have now closed.

Masterclasses

QLS also offer masterclasses for senior practitioners including those undertaking their Specialist Accreditation to refresh their knowledge and support them in completing the course.
