LawCare is among the many exclusive benefits that QLS provides to its members. As part of the QLS program that promotes resilience and wellbeing resources, members and their families are given access to counselling (six hours complimentary) and other support. LawCare offers a range of confidential, personal and professional support to help proactively clarify problems, identify options and develop a plan to manage issues.

Converge International are the external suppliers of LawCare and offer services face-to-face, over the telephone, via video, online, or via Live Chat, whichever is more convenient. Consultations are strictly confidential and the cost of services are provided by QLS. Converge International has a strong understanding of the unique needs of the legal profession with an extensive regional presence with offices throughout Queensland.

LawCare’s health and wellbeing resources include; learning modules, podcasts, videos, meditations, articles, blogs, self-assessments, activities, animations, and a resources toolkit. All counsellors are qualified, experienced professionals who have extensive training and experience in counselling, coaching and workplace consulting.

Queensland Law Society has contracted Converge International to provide confidential LawCare services.

Converge International does not share information about you with anyone unless authorised to do so by you in writing, or if required under law.

In the case of a workplace issue, you may authorise Converge International to discuss the matter with your manager, or another person you nominate to help address the situation.
