Assess your AML/CTF compliance at the AML Health Check online workshop

With regulatory body AUSTRAC actively auditing Australian businesses under the new Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Amendment Act 2024, now is the time to get compliance confident.

Hosted by QLS and compliance experts Holley Nethercote on Wednesday 28 October, the AML Health Check will help legal practitioners assess whether their AML/CTF program, compliance officer arrangements, staff training and client-facing processes are operating as intended following commencement of the new regime.

Topics covered in this 3.5 hour online workshop will include:

  • A practical AML/CTF health check to assess whether your program, processes and key controls are in place
  • The practicalities of customer due diligence, including who it applies to, when it is required and how to carry it out effectively
  • Common red flags, suspicious matter reporting obligations and how to respond when concerns arise
  • An opportunity to ask questions and clarify key AML/CTF implementation requirements

Workshop registrations are open to legal practitioners and support staff who may be involved in implementing the new reforms.

Secure your place today to avoid missing out.

Registrations close 5pm, Tuesday 27 October, unless sold out prior.
