Comments on the Health Legislation Amendment Bill 2019 that amends five health portfolio acts and two regulations to implement various policy objectives. This submission is limited to the proposed amendments to the Public Health Act 2005 (PHA) and in particular the insertion of Chapter 5B which seeks to prohibit the practice of conversion therapy by health service providers in Queensland.
