QLS welcomed this legislation to make permanent measures initially introduced during the pandemic. The Bill facilitates the electronic creation and remote witnessing of affidavits, statutory declarations, GPAs for businesses, deeds and particular mortgages. The bill also allows nurse practitioners to sign a capacity certificate for an AHD and streamlines domestic and family violence proceedings.
