The holder of this certificate must: a) successfully complete (by obtaining a ‘pass’ mark) the next available QLS Remedial Ethics Course, at his own expense; b) within 14 days, commence counselling with a registered psychologist which includes: i. informing the Society of the name and contact details of his treating psychologist within seven days of commencing psychological counselling; ii. engaging in at least monthly psychology sessions for a period of no less than two years; and iii. providing the Society with a report from his treating psychologist every 6 months which details his compliance. c) undertake a period of mentorship with a Senior Counsellor for a period of no less than 12 months, which includes: i. making arrangements with a Senior Counsellor approved by the Society and providing confirmation to the Society of the Senior Counsellor’s acceptance; ii. providing to the Senior Counsellor a copy of submission ES26.8; iii. meeting with the Senior Counsellor once per quarter, commencing from Q2 of 2026; iv. ensuring that meetings are conducted in person, by telephone or via an online meeting; v. ensuring ethical and/or legal issues are discussed; vi. discussing ongoing practising certificate disclosure obligations; vii. providing the Society with a report from the Senior Counsellor within 14 days after the second and forth meeting, which includes written confirmation of the date of each meeting that has taken place; and viii. meeting the costs of the Senior Counsellor (if any). d) update the Society within seven days of any substantive steps taken by the Legal Services Commission in relation to any investigation involving his conduct; e) inform the Society within seven days of: i. being charged with any traffic offence; or ii. receiving any traffic infringement notice. f) provide his Queensland traffic history report with each application for renewal of his practising certificate for the next 3 renewal periods, namely 2026/2027, 2027/2028 and 2028/2029.
