1. Not accept appointment under a Power of Attorney or undertake any further work under an existing Power of Attorney; 2. Take steps at his own cost to have himself removed as Attorney from any Power of Attorney he has been appointed under if he is requested to act under it in the future; and 3. Upon learning of any donor who has appointed him as Attorney under and Enduring Power of Attorney, being unable to appoint a new Attorney because of capacity issues, the practitioner will:– (a) Notify the Society of the circumstances; and (b) Provide reasonable assistance, as a witness if required, in any Guardianship proceedings with a view to reaching an appropriate remedy for that donor
