What are DLAs?

District Law Associations are valued partners in ensuring that lawyers have access to relevant resources and information along with a community of collegiate practitioners wherever they might be in Queensland. 

QLS partners with District Law Associations throughout Queensland to deliver targeted training and professional development opportunities and engages with associations to identify regional matters of importance for the profession.

Central Queensland Law Association

Furthering access to justice in Central Queensland as the representative body for Central Queensland lawyers.

Downs and South Western Queensland Law Association

An integral part of the legal community on the Darling Downs and South Western Queensland since 1937.



Far North Queensland Law Association

Providing a social and professional forum for local practitioners.



Fraser Coast District Law Association

Connecting Solicitors and Barristers in Hervey Bay and Maryborough with each other, and the wider legal community.



Gladstone Law Association

Bringing together and representing the law community in the Gladstone area.


Gold Coast District Law Association

Aims to provide a forum for local legal practitioners to connect with each other and the community.



Ipswich District Law Association

Helping to promote collegiality amongst the profession and keeping the people of Ipswich informed on legal matters.



Mackay District Law Association

A group to support educate and bring together the legal profession of Mackay and surrounds.

North West Law Association
