As part of the refurbishment project for Law Society House, level 3 will become available for lease mid-2023 at commercial leasing rates + a lease incentive depending on the lease term. The floor area is 767 sqm and the building amenities include renovated bathrooms, end of trip facilities and a ground floor café.

Our contemporary, stylish premises offer state-of-the art facilities and our suite of rooms is capable of a range of set-up styles from mediations and boardroom lunches through to cocktail functions for 90 guests or conferences for 120 people in theatre style.

Providing individual service, our facilities team can tailor every aspect of your event to your needs, including catering and equipment.

Our venue

Queensland Law Society offers a professional conference venue and a range of meeting rooms which are conveniently located in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD at Law Society House, Level 2, 179 Ann Street, Brisbane.

Queensland Law Society auditorium

Our modular auditorium can accommodate up to 120 people in its full format. It can be easily reconfigured to suit smaller groups and event formats, from a board meeting for 20 people to a cocktail function for 90. 

Audio-visual, computer equipment and catering are available.

Meeting and mediation rooms

Our meeting rooms have been designed to provide a professional, comfortable and efficient user experience. Whether you’re wanting to host a large boardroom lunch or meeting, or simply a small room for a critical meeting, we will ensure you and your brand are presented in the best possible light.

All rooms can be provided with teleconferencing, while larger rooms have full presentation technologies built in.


Venue hire pricing is inclusive of audio-visual equipment including data projection, electronic whiteboard, whiteboard, laptop computer, lectern and microphones. Complimentary pens, notepads, tea and coffee, mints and table water are also provided with bookings.

Free WiFi is available across the entire level and all of our rooms are air conditioned.


Whether you’re after breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, or full buffet, we can provide a comprehensive range of menu options from our list of preferred suppliers to suit your budget and dietary requirements. Contact our facilities team on 1300 367 757 to create your menu.

Unlike other venues, we also welcome clients who wish to source and provide their own catering.

Video conferencing and web streaming

Skype for Business video conferencing facilities are available for use.

Web streaming video and audio content is available through WiFi with a guaranteed 10Mbps(Down)/ 10Mbps(Up) link.


Limited on-site parking is available to facilitate drop-off and pick-up of supplies.
