Engaging in legal practice - the use of Air Tasker

20 August 2020

The Society has recently been made aware that an app called Air Tasker may be being used by unqualified persons or persons without a practising certificate to provide legal services for an agreed fee. The services being performed include, among other things, drafting and reviewing contracts and letters of termination for employment.

Should members of the profession become aware of such unlicensed operators please consider making a complaint to the Legal Services Commission.
