Earlier this week, the Law Society of NSW release the annual National Profile of Solicitors Report for 2024. This national profile contains statistical information about the solicitor profession across Australia, by gender, age, years since admission, and location. The data presents a demographic picture of the legal profession, as at 31 October 2024, as well as changes observed over time. It is based on data provided by the state and territory regulators which license solicitors to practise in Australia.
