Federal Circuit Court – Procedure for Subpoenas – DoE
The Department of Education (DoE), Queensland has stated its preference for service of subpoenas for the production of documents pursuant to rr6.06 and 6.11 of the Federal Circuit Court Rules:
- fax at 07 3247 5286 (Reg 6.11(1)(c)) or
- email at rti@qed.qld.gov.au (Reg 6.11(1)(e))
You MUST then post the original of the sealed subpoena with the relevant conduct money.
Practitioners, who are seeking to issue a subpoena over the holiday period, should keep in mind that many schools close during school holiday periods and are without staff.
